For companies originating from Tanzania

Eligiblе companies are thоѕе registered in Tаnzаniа with Buѕinеѕѕ Registrations Agencies (BPAR) or (BRELA). Those buѕinеѕѕеѕ will аlѕо nееd tо dеmоnѕtrаtе being in роѕѕеѕѕiоn оf a valid buѕinеѕѕ liсеnѕе.

Members are deemed eligible to be part of the association based on criteria ranging from qualification, relevant work experience for individuals and relevant project experience for companies, evidence of indigenous identity for individuals and evidence of local business registration for companies or locally registered credible partners in the case of international companies.

• Proven investment or operations in Tanzania’s energy industry.
• Alignment with YAPA’s mission to support young engineers and professionals.
• Contributions to capacity-building initiatives, such as funding training programs or workshops.
• A willingness to collaborate on community outreach and infrastructure projects.

For International Companies

Eligible companies are those registered with respective regulatory authorities present in their home countries. YAPA family is big enough and inclusive to accommodate anyone who feels like they can have a contribution to the our transformative mission or groundbreaking initiatives for the greater good.

• Industry Experience: A proven track record in the oil and gas sector, with ongoing projects or significant contributions to the industry.
• Commitment to Africa’s Development: Demonstrated involvement in initiatives that support capacity building, local content, or infrastructure development in African countries.
• Alignment with YAPA Goals: Clear support for YAPA’s mission to empower young engineers and advance the African petroleum industry.
• Ethical Standards: Compliance with global corporate social responsibility guidelines and a history of ethical business practices.
• Collaborative Opportunities: Willingness to participate in YAPA activities, such as training programs, mentorships, and community outreach efforts.
